About The Orchards at Greytown
Resource Consent has now been received for The Orchards at Greytown, which will be set in the grounds of the former Murphy’s Orchard. It is very conveniently located in Reading Street, opposite Greytown Primary School and only 300 metres from Main Street, Greytown.
We encourage you to register your interest below, although firm applications cannot be accepted until the company applies for registration under the Retirement Villages Act 2003. This will not occur until construction of the lifestyle village is underway which is anticipated to be in late 2019.
On site, it is intended there will be a full continuum of care with options ranging from independent villas with well-appointed communal facilities through to serviced apartments, rest home, hospital and dementia level care. The villas and apartments will be occupied by people over the age of 70 years on an occupational license.
This Lifestyle Retirement Village is being developed by The Orchards Limited Partnership owned by interests associated with Tumu Group, the reputable Hawke's Bay based business and Craig Percy who has 20 years experience in the aged care and retirement sectors both in New Zealand and the UK.
